Reflecting on my journey into stargazing, my first telescope was the Celestron FirstScope. This compact reflector telescope was ideal for a novice like me due to its user-friendly design and portability. With its 76mm aperture, the FirstScope allowed me to catch my first glimpses of the Moon’s craters and even some planets like Jupiter and Saturn. Although it lacked the sophisticated features of more advanced telescopes, the ease of setup and basic functionality provided a perfect introduction to the world of amateur astronomy. This experience ignited my passion for celestial observation and set me on a path to explore more complex equipment in the future.
